The clip point blade is made from CRYO D2 tool steel, a high-carbon, high-chromium steel that has been cryogenically heat-treated to push grain refinement and carbide distribution beyond what conventional heat treatment achieves, resulting in a blade that holds an edge hard and handles real-world use without complaint. At a closed length of 3.77 inches (9.58cm) and weighing just 4.09 oz (116g), it disappears into a pocket or onto a belt without fuss, yet opens with confidence via a thumb hole or kick for one-handed deployment. - Blade Steel: CRYO D2 tool steel, cryogenically heat-treated to a hardness of Rc. 58-60. D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium semi-stainless steel known for exceptional wear resistance and edge retention, with the cryo treatment further refining the steel's grain structure for improved toughness and longevity.
- Blade Geometry: Clip point profile with a straight edge and a thickness of 0.15 inches (3.81mm). The clip point offers a fine, controllable tip suited to detail work, skinning, and general cutting tasks.
- Blade Finish: Black Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating. TiN is an extremely hard ceramic coating that adds surface hardness, reduces friction, and provides corrosion resistance while giving the blade a low-visibility blackout appearance.
- Blade Length: 2.62 inches (6.65cm), with an overall open length of 6.39 inches (16.23cm). Compact enough for daily carry, still capable for field tasks.
- Handle Material: G10 and stainless steel construction in a Blackout finish. G10 is a high-pressure fibreglass laminate that is extremely tough, virtually impervious to moisture, and provides a secure grip even in wet or cold conditions.
- Locking Mechanism: Frame lock design. The frame lock uses a portion of the handle itself as the locking bar, bearing directly against the blade tang for a solid, reliable lock-up with minimal play.
- Opening Mechanism: Ambidextrous thumb hole and kick for smooth, consistent one-handed opening without the need for a separate stud or disc.
- Carry System: Reversible belt clip allowing tip-up or tip-down carry and left or right-hand configuration to suit your preference or work environment.
- Weight and Dimensions: 4.09 oz (116g) with a closed length of 3.77 inches (9.58cm), keeping the knife genuinely pocketable without sacrificing a usable blade length.
