Welcome to the Venture Hunting and Outdoors website ("Site"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Site operated by Venture Hunting and Outdoors and its affiliates or subsidiaries ("we", "our", or "us"). QUOTES - All quotes are subject to stock availability and are valid for 30 days from the date of the quotation. If acceptance is received after this period has lapsed, an updated quote will need to be prepared

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms at any time. Please check these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site after the posting of changes constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes.

The Site is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.

Venture Hunting and Outdoors reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order if we believe it violates these Terms or any applicable laws.

To make a purchase, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer.

6. Product Information
All prices displayed on the Site are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). We strive for accuracy in pricing, but errors do occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.

7. Orders
All orders placed through the Site are subject to our acceptance. We may refuse to accept or may cancel any order, whether or not the order has been confirmed, for any or no reason.

8. Returns and Exchanges
Please refer to our Return and Exchange Policy for information about returning or exchanging items purchased from the Site.

9. Content and Intellectual Property
All content, graphics, code, and software used on or incorporated into the Site, and the arrangement or integration of all such content, graphics, code, and software, are subject to copyrights held by or licensed to Venture Hunting and Outdoors.

By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Venture Hunting and Outdoors harmless from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site or your violation of any of these Terms.

We reserve the right, without notice and in our sole discretion, to terminate your account or your use of the Site and to block or prevent future access to and use of the Site.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.

16. Card Surcharge

  • 16.1. Surcharge Amount:

    • Venture Hunting and Outdoors imposes a surcharge on all transactions using non-EFTPOS cards. This surcharge is calculated based on the total transaction value.
    • Rates:
      • 0% for EFTPOS (Savings/Cheque)
      • 0.5% for Visa Debit & Mastercard Debit cards
      • 1.5% for all other cards

  • 16.2. Non-Refundable Fee:

    • The card surcharge is a processing fee and is non-refundable. This includes cases where the original transaction is refunded or goods are returned.

  • 16.3. Purpose of Surcharge:

    • The surcharge is imposed to cover the processing fees associated with card transactions.

  • 16.4. Surcharge Disclosure:

    • The surcharge prompt will be clearly displayed and added to the total transaction amount at the checkout stage. Customers will have the opportunity to review this surcharge before finalizing their purchase.

  • 16.5. Transaction Security:

    • All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your personal information. This encryption is provided by TYRO.

  • 16.6. Changes to the Surcharge Policy:

    • Venture Hunting and Outdoors reserves the right to modify or abolish the credit card surcharge at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our website, or at the till, and will be effective immediately upon posting.

  • 16.7. Agreement to Terms:

    • By choosing to complete a transaction with a credit card, the customer acknowledges and agrees to pay the imposed surcharge in accordance with these terms and conditions.
