Designed in collaboration with legendary Japanese bladesmith Kiku Matsuda, the SOG Kiku XR Satin Folding Knife is a premium everyday carry folder that earns its place in the field, at camp, or on the workbench. The modified tanto blade is ground from CTS XHP stainless steel, a powder metallurgy alloy that sits in a sweet spot between high-end tool steel and stainless, delivering genuine edge retention alongside strong corrosion resistance. At a blade length of 3.03" (7.7cm) and an overall length of 7.3" (18.5cm) when open, it carries compact but opens into a capable, purposeful cutting tool. The linen micarta handle gives the knife its character, with a texture and feel that only improves with use, and because no two pieces of micarta are identical, each Kiku XR is subtly unique.
