German engineering meets the demands of Australian hunters and sport shooters in the Sauer 100 Stainless XT Threaded M15x1 Bolt Action Centrefire Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. Built at Sauer's facility in Isny, Germany, this rifle is cold hammer-forged and CNC-milled to a guaranteed sub-MOA precision standard straight out of the box, making it a serious tool for hunters and range shooters who expect consistency at distance. The 6.5 Creedmoor chambering is one of the most capable and widely supported cartridges available in Australia today, offering excellent long-range ballistics with manageable recoil, and the factory M15x1 muzzle thread means suppressors or muzzle devices can be fitted without modification. From the ERGO MAX stock geometry through to the three-lug bolt and Ever-Rest bedding system, the Sauer 100 Stainless XT is a rifle built around delivering repeatable, real-world accuracy in the field or on the range.

Sauer 100 Stainless XT Threaded M15x1 Bolt Action Centrefire Rifle - 6.5 CREEDMOOR Key Features

• Calibre: Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, a flat-shooting, wind-bucking cartridge with excellent terminal performance and widely available ammunition across Australia. Well suited to deer hunting, pest control, and long-range target shooting.
• Cold Hammer-Forged Barrel: The 560 mm barrel is cold hammer-forged on-site in Isny, Germany. This manufacturing process aligns the steel grain structure for superior bore consistency, extended barrel life, and the precision required to meet Sauer's sub-MOA factory guarantee.
• Sub-MOA Accuracy Guarantee: Sauer guarantees this rifle will produce groups of less than one MOA, meaning shots will land within approximately 2.54 cm at 100 metres when using suitable ammunition and appropriate technique.
• Stainless Barrel and Receiver: The barrel and receiver are finished in stainless steel, offering strong resistance to corrosion from rain, humidity, and field conditions. The receiver is produced using CNC milling technology, contributing to the smooth, consistent bolt cycling the Sauer 100 is known for.
• Three-Lug Bolt Action with 60-Degree Throw: The three-lug bolt design provides a shorter 60-degree bolt throw compared to traditional two-lug actions. This allows faster cycling without requiring the shooter to break cheek weld, a meaningful advantage in hunting situations where follow-up shots matter.
• M15x1 Threaded Muzzle: Factory-threaded at M15x1, this barrel is ready to accept a suppressor or muzzle brake without additional gunsmithing work, where permitted under your state's firearms regulations.
• ERGO MAX Polymer Softtouch Stock: The stock is constructed from a Polymer Softtouch material and features an inclined comb design that promotes a more natural shooting posture and helps reduce felt recoil. The Softtouch surface improves grip in wet or cold conditions.
• Ever-Rest Bedding System: Sauer's proprietary Ever-Rest bedding incorporates a metal block around the front action screw, providing a stable, consistent interface between the action and stock. This contributes directly to shot-to-shot accuracy and reduces point-of-impact shift caused by stock flex or temperature changes.
• Adjustable Trigger: The trigger pull weight is user-adjustable between 1,000 g and 2,000 g (approximately 2.2 lbs to 4.4 lbs), allowing shooters to set a pull weight that suits their shooting style and application.
• Three-Position Safety: The three-position safety allows the bolt to be unloaded with the safety engaged, giving hunters and range shooters a safe and practical means of managing the rifle during field conditions or at the bench.
• Remington 700 Pattern Scope Mount Compatibility: The receiver is drilled and tapped to accept scope bases using the Remington 700 footprint, one of the most widely supported patterns in the industry. This ensures broad compatibility with rings and bases from most major optic mount manufacturers.
• Detachable 5-Round Polymer Magazine: The flush-fitting detachable polymer magazine holds 5 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor and allows for quick reloading in the field.
• Cocking Indicator: A visual and tactile cocking indicator is located at the rear of the bolt, providing an immediate at-a-glance check of the rifle's condition without requiring the shooter to manipulate any components.
• Overall Dimensions and Weight: Total length is 1,065 mm with an approximate weight of 3,100 g (3.1 kg) unloaded, striking a practical balance between field-portable weight and the mass needed for steady shooting.

The Sauer 100 Stainless XT in 6.5 Creedmoor is a well-specified, factory-accurate bolt action that punches well above its price point. Whether you're hunting deer across open country, managing feral animals on a large property, or pushing the limits at the range, this rifle delivers the precision engineering and practical features that experienced shooters expect from the Sauer name.
