A dependable entry point into bolt-action rimfire shooting, the Rossi 8122 Standard Blued Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand is a compact, lightweight .22 LR that punches well above its price point. Manufactured in Brazil by CBC, one of the world's largest ammunition and small arms producers, the 8122 is built on a forged steel receiver and delivers a clean, consistent shooting experience whether you're introducing a younger shooter to the range or keeping rabbits and other small game in check on the property. The scaled-down proportions and 340mm length of pull make it particularly well suited to junior shooters and smaller-framed adults, without compromising on function or reliability. Every unit is ballistic-tested and ready for immediate firearm registration upon purchase.

Rossi 8122 Standard Blued Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand Key Features

• Calibre: Chambered in .22 LR, one of the most widely available and affordable rimfire cartridges in Australia. Ideal for small game hunting, pest control, and recreational range shooting.
• Forged Steel Receiver: The receiver is machined from forged steel rather than cast or alloy alternatives, providing a stronger and more durable action foundation that holds up to extended use.
• Free-Float Barrel: The 18.5 inch (46.99 cm) barrel is free-floated, meaning it does not contact the stock along its length. This eliminates pressure inconsistencies that can affect point of impact, contributing to more repeatable accuracy.
• Barrel Rifling: 6-groove rifling with a 1:16 inch right-hand twist rate, well matched to standard .22 LR projectile weights for stable flight and consistent downrange performance.
• Blued Finish: A traditional blued metal finish on the barrel and action provides a degree of corrosion resistance and gives the rifle a clean, classic appearance.
• Polymer Monte Carlo Stock: The textured synthetic stock features a Monte Carlo cheekpiece design and is ambidextrous, with a cheek-rest on both sides of the buttstock. Polymer construction keeps the overall weight down and stands up to outdoor conditions better than timber.
• Compact Proportions: With a 340mm length of pull and an overall length of 90.17 cm, this rifle is scaled for smaller-framed shooters. It is a genuine option for youth training and junior introductory shooting programs.
• Detachable 10-Round Magazine: The magazine is a pressed metal construction with a green polymer follower, holding 10 rounds of .22 LR. The detachable format allows for fast reloading and straightforward clearance drills at the range.
• Trigger: A non-adjustable trigger with a pull weight of 2.27 kg provides a consistent and clean break. The 8122 is noted for trigger performance that exceeds expectations at this price point.
• Cross-Bolt Safety: A simple and reliable cross-bolt push-button safety is positioned within easy reach for right-hand operation.
• 3/8 Inch (9.52 mm) Dovetail Scope Rail: The receiver is machined with a standard 3/8 inch (9.52 mm) dovetail rail, compatible with a wide range of rimfire rings and mounts, making it straightforward to fit a scope or red dot.
• Weight: At 2.5 kg, the 8122 is a genuinely lightweight package, easy to carry in the field for extended periods.

The Rossi 8122 is a solid, no-nonsense rimfire bolt action that delivers reliable function and real-world accuracy at an accessible price point. Whether it's a first rifle for a junior shooter or a practical tool for pest control on the farm, it covers the fundamentals without unnecessary complexity.
