When the shot needs to count at medium to long range, the NSI Super Caccia Shot Shell Ammo - 12G - 38gm - 1335fps - 0 - 25 Rounds is a cartridge built without compromise. Loaded with a substantial 38gm (1 1/3 oz) payload of tempered lead shot in size 0, this round is purpose-designed for situations where knockdown power and pattern integrity are non-negotiable - whether you're working on duck over a wetland, geese on a flight line, hares in open country, or foxes at distance. Developed by Nobel Sport Italia, the Super Caccia has consistently placed at the top of independent comparison tests, and it's easy to understand why once you examine what goes into each shell. This is a winter-rated cartridge built to perform reliably in high humidity and cold conditions, making it a serious option for Australian hunters pushing into the tougher end of the season.

NSI Super Caccia Shot Shell Ammo - 12G - 38gm - 1335fps - 0 - 25 Rounds Key Features

• Payload and Shot Size: Each shell is loaded with 38gm (1 1/3 oz) of size 0 tempered lead shot, delivering a heavy, hard-hitting payload suited to larger game and longer shots where energy retention is critical.
• Muzzle Velocity: Clocking in at 1,361fps (415m/s), this is a fast, flat-shooting load that maintains energy downrange - a meaningful advantage when birds are working at height or game is running at distance.
• NSI Original 2 Pieces Wad System: NSI's exclusive two-piece wad uses a specialised piston at its base that collapses on ignition, containing the shot column and preventing contact with the barrel wall. This preserves pellet sphericity, which translates directly into a more consistent, uniform and predictable downrange pattern.
• Tempered Lead Shot with High Antimony Content: High-antimony tempered lead pellets are harder and more resistant to deformation during the firing cycle than standard lead, resulting in better pellet roundness through the bore, tighter patterns, and more retained energy on impact at extended ranges.
• TECNAn Double-Base Powder: The TECNAn propellant used in the Super Caccia is a double-base powder formulated for consistent ignition and performance across a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels, making this round dependable in cold, wet Australian winter hunting conditions.
• Shell Specifications: 70mm shell length, 23mm brass head height, transparent orange tube, 12 gauge. Comes in boxes of 25 rounds, with cases of 250 rounds available.
• Suggested Game: Duck, wood-pigeon, hare, goose, and fox - any application where a heavy load is required and the shot may be pushed to the limits of practical range.

The Super Caccia sits at the serious end of the Nobel Sport Italia range, and the combination of a heavy tempered shot charge, proprietary wad technology, and all-weather powder makes it a cartridge worth keeping on hand when conditions are tough and the game isn't close. Available in 25-round boxes.
