Buffalo River Platinum Series 7 Gun Safe - 50kg Cat A/B Key Features

• Compliance and Accreditation: Meets BS7558/92 British Standard for gun storage, and carries both Police Recommended status and Secured by Design licensing through Buffalo River, supporting compliance with Australian Category A and B firearms storage requirements.
• Door Steel Thickness: The door is constructed from 6mm steel, providing substantial resistance to forced entry and meeting the structural demands expected of a compliant Category A/B safe.
• Body Steel Thickness: The cabinet body is formed from 3mm steel with welded seams throughout, ensuring rigid construction without weak points.
• Locking Bolt System: Five 25mm (2.5cm) diameter locking bolts drive from the door into the body on three sides, distributing locking force around the frame and significantly increasing resistance to prying or forced access.
• Lock Type: A 9-lever key lock secures the main compartment, supplied with two keys. A higher lever count means greater key complexity and improved pick resistance compared to lower-grade locks. Two additional keys are supplied for the independently locking ammunition compartment.
• Anti-Jemmy Door Frame and Anti-Pry Hinges: The door frame is designed to resist jemmy attacks, and internal hinges prevent the door from being removed even if the hinge pins are compromised from the outside.
• Gun Capacity and Internal Dimensions: Stores up to seven long guns within an internal space of 1490mm x 350mm x 280mm. The main compartment provides approximately 1280mm of internal height, allowing most scoped hunting rifles to stand upright without removing the scope.
• Separate Ammunition Compartment: A dedicated locking ammunition compartment (225mm x 350mm x 245mm) sits independently of the main door and locks separately, keeping ammunition segregated as required under Australian storage regulations.
• Moulded Rubber Gun Racks: Fitted as standard to protect stocks and finishes, keeping firearms upright and separated within the cabinet.
• Fully Carpeted Interior: The entire interior is lined with carpet to protect firearm finishes during storage and retrieval.
• One-Piece Cleaning Rod Holders: Built into the interior to keep cleaning equipment accessible and organised without taking up gun rack space.
• Mounting Provision: Pre-drilled holes in both the floor and rear wall, with mounting bolts included. Suitable for floor fixing or wall fixing, giving flexibility in installation location.
• Weight and Dimensions: At 50kg and 1500mm x 360mm x 360mm (H x W x D), the safe provides a solid, manageable unit that can be positioned in most standard spaces.
• Finish: Durable black powder coat applied externally for long-term resistance to scratching and corrosion in a residential environment.

The Buffalo River Platinum Series 7 is a well-specified, compliance-ready safe that meets the practical and regulatory needs of Australian Category A and B licence holders. With its combination of multi-bolt locking, heavy-gauge steel, independent ammunition storage, and a thoughtfully designed interior, it covers the essentials without unnecessary compromise.
