The Adreno Abrolhos 3.0mm Diving Socks are a fleece lined and GBS sealed fin sock that excels in a fin or on the deck. We’ve lined most of the sock with a fleece lining for more warmth, quicker drying and easier access. Around the cuffs we’ve removed the fleece and added a tacky smoothskin lining that seals against the lower-leg which greatly reduces the inflow of cold water.
Ultra-hardy glued and blind-stitched seams means these boots are free of pin-holing in the manufacturing process, making them ideal for cold water diving – furthermore, the elastic glued and blind-stitching allows the seam to expand more than the heavy stitching of flatlock seams. A GBS seam was a no-brainer as the neoprene itself has huge stretch factor we wanted to make sure we weren’t limiting that with the seam.
To ensure durability we laid bulletproof Supratex along the sole, a woven HDPE mesh with unrivaled anti-abrasion properties. It’s stretchy, resilient and is the ideal material for contact with rough surfaces – but not everything is grippy so we adhered a bunch of anti-slip material to give you ample grip for handling your gun, fish and boat ladders etc. It just happens to look like a skeleton…
