 Where are you based?

Batemans Bay, NSW

What type of hunting do you do?
Rifle hunting. Pigs, goats, deer, rabbits.

How did you get into hunting?
I got into hunting through my family, and I started heading out with them between the age of 5-8 years old. As a child the night before I was going hunting I couldn’t sleep at night and it felt like Christmas morning. I was hooked

Where is your favourite location to hunt?
Southern NSW

Tell us about your most memorable hunt
In 2024 a fallow buck I shot with the family. Had my partner Ivy and daughter Naia with me, she was 10 months old, I was stoked. Such an incredible experience and to do it with the family was just breathtaking. I have been hunting specifically fallow deer for a few years now and I started learning how to call the bucks in, and when everything went to plan and had this monster buck under 30m, was amazing. And for the whole family to witness it was the cherry on top

What are your top three "holy grail" items?
Binoculars - Field Knife - Backpack (I also use my back pack as a rest, and everything stays in the back pack. So I pick that backpack up and all my essentials are in there) (2 way radios, rope, little gas burner, lighter, game bags)

Why do you hunt?
Many reasons. To fill the freezer, eat nutritional food and to know where my food comes from. Mental health - the quiet of the nature brings me peace. It feels good to provide for my family, it's a healthy way to explore my masculinity and I love the challenge of working for my food and the challenge of understanding the animal I’m hunting.
