Built at Sauer's facility in Isny, Germany, this rifle pairs a cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel and CNC-milled receiver with a weather-resistant soft-touch polymer stock, making it a serious choice for hunters and sport shooters who demand consistent performance across a wide range of conditions. The .308 WIN chambering needs little introduction, sitting comfortably as one of the most versatile and widely used centrefire cartridges available to Australian hunters and range shooters alike. With a factory sub-MOA accuracy guarantee, M15x1 muzzle threading for suppressor or muzzle device fitment, and an adjustable single-stage trigger, the Sauer 100 Stainless XT is a rifle that punches well above its price point.

Sauer 100 Stainless XT Threaded M15x1 Bolt Action Centrefire Rifle - .308 WIN Key Features

Cold Hammer-Forged Barrel: The 560mm (22") barrel is cold hammer-forged on-site in Isny, Germany. This manufacturing process compresses and aligns the steel's grain structure, producing a harder, more consistent bore that extends service life and supports the rifle's sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.

Sub-MOA Accuracy Guarantee: Sauer backs the 100 Stainless XT with a factory guarantee of less than 1 MOA groupings. This is not a marketing claim but a documented performance standard, giving shooters confidence in the rifle straight out of the box.

Stainless Steel Barrelled Action: Both the barrel and receiver are stainless steel, offering significantly improved corrosion resistance over blued alternatives. An essential consideration for hunters and shooters operating in coastal, tropical, or consistently wet Australian environments.

M15x1 Muzzle Thread: The barrel is threaded M15x1 at the muzzle, allowing direct fitment of a suppressor or muzzle brake without an adaptor. Compatible with the common metric thread standard widely used across the Australian aftermarket.

Ever-Rest Aluminium Bedding Block: An aluminium bedding block is integrated into the stock, providing a solid, consistent interface between the barrelled action and the stock. Combined with a free-floating barrel design, this eliminates pressure point variability and supports shot-to-shot consistency.

ERGO MAX Soft-Touch Polymer Stock: The synthetic stock features a Softtouch polymer finish with stippling for improved grip in wet or cold conditions. The inclined comb geometry improves natural shooting posture and reduces felt recoil. The stock is neutral and fully ambidextrous, suited to both left and right-handed shooters.

Adjustable Comb: A synthetic insert in the stock allows the comb height to be customised, enabling the shooter to dial in correct cheek weld and eye alignment for use with or without optics.

Externally Adjustable Single-Stage Trigger: Pull weight is externally adjustable between 1,000g and 2,000g (2.2lbs to 4.4lbs) without removing the action from the stock. This lets shooters tune the trigger to suit their preference and application without specialist tooling.

Three-Lug Bolt with 60-Degree Lift: The three-lug bolt design reduces bolt lift to just 60 degrees, making cycling faster and keeping the shooter's head closer to the stock during operation. Lugs bear on a dedicated breech ring abutment for solid, consistent lockup.

Single Left-Side Raceway: The bolt shaft features a single raceway machined into the left side, allowing smooth and unobstructed travel through the action with minimal contact points.

Twin Sprung Plunger Ejectors: Seated on the push feed bolt face, twin sprung plunger ejectors provide positive, reliable case ejection across a wide range of operating conditions.

Three-Position Safety: The safety offers three distinct positions: Safe, Bolt Open, and Fire. The Bolt Open position allows the chamber to be unloaded safely while keeping the action locked, an important practical feature in the field.

Detachable 5-Round Polymer Magazine: The flush-fit detachable magazine holds 5 rounds of .308 WIN and allows quick reloading in the field without disrupting shooting position.

Remington 700-Pattern Scope Bases: The receiver is drilled and tapped to accept Remington 700-pattern scope bases, one of the most widely supported mounting standards in Australia. A broad range of compatible rings and mounts are readily available.

Cocked Action Indicator: A black visual indicator on the rear of the bolt confirms whether the action is cocked, providing a quick and clear status check at a glance.

The Sauer 100 Stainless XT in .308 WIN is a factory-accurate, weather-ready bolt action that covers the full spectrum of Australian hunting and sport shooting applications without compromise.
